Getting Started

There are 2 steps to getting started with tracking your workout.

  1. Add an exercise. You can do this by tapping the red + circle in the bottom right corner
  2. Once you have added an exercise, you can now start adding sets. To do this, enter the weight and number of reps you did in the inputs for the exercise, then tap the Add button.

Some other points to note:

  • To edit a set or add more information such as RPE, percentage, videos, or notes, tap on the set.
  • You can mark sets as complete or incomplete by tapping the checkmark circle on the left of the set. Grey means not completed, red means completed.

What is volume?

Volume is a measure of work done. It is calculated by multiplying reps, weight, and sets together (i.e. reps x weight x sets).

How can I change my units?

You can change your units to lbs or kg by going to your diary settings. To access your settings, go to the More tab in the app, then tap on Diary Settings.

How do I edit my password?

You can change your password by going to your account settings. To access your account settings, go to the More tab in the app, then tap on Account Settings. From there, find the Change Password option in the settings list.

How do I edit my email address?

You can change your email by going to your account settings. To access your account settings, go to the More tab in the app, then tap on Account Settings. From there, find the Change Email option in the settings list.

How do I start a program?

To start a program such as 5/3/1, Starting Strength, or any other number of programs in the database, navigate to the Programs tab. To do this, tap on the Programs tab. Select a program you want to do by tapping on it. E.g. tap on 5/3/1 to open it. This will show you the details of the program. Confirm you are happy to add this program, and then tap on Add To Diary. You will be presented with some options such as setting the start date and entering your maxes. For more information on these settings, visit our blog post here. Once you are happy with these settings, tap on Add To Diary.

How do I remove a program from my diary?

To remove a program, navigate to your diary. From there find the Active Program section, then tap on Manage Program. From here find the Remove Program button. This will remove all workouts of the program from your diary.

How can I export my data?

You can export all your workout data by going to your diary settings. To access your diary settings, go to the More tab in the app, then tap on Diary Settings. From here, find Export Data and tap the Download button.

How do I remove imported data?

Should an import go wrong, or you decide you want to undo the import, you can remove a specific import from your diary. To do this, go to your diary settings, then go to Import Data. Within this screen you should see all your previous imports. Find the import you’d like to remove then tap on the Remove button.
